Rate: €70–€90 per hour
Contract Duration: 15th June 2026 – 31st December 2026 (strong likelihood of extension)
Security Clearance: NATO Secret (essential)

Overview
We are supporting a NATO programme seeking an experienced Digital Infrastructure Engineer to join the Enterprise Edge Services team. This role sits within a high-security, mission-critical environment supporting cyber security infrastructure and enterprise edge services across a complex international network.

You will play a key role in implementing, maintaining, and supporting secure network and cyber security solutions, working closely with both military and civilian stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation and administration of cyber security policies, tools, and configurations
Provide Level 2/3 support across INF051 services, including:
Secure Web Proxies
Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
Email Gateways
Remote Access VPN
DNS and DHCP
Act as CISS representative within the ESOC
Support cross-functional teams within NISC as required
Perform infrastructure troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimisation activities
Contribute to secure cloud and enterprise edge architecture improvements

Required Experience & Skills

Proven experience implementing and maintaining enterprise networks
Strong hands-on experience with:
DNS / DHCP
Remote Access VPNs
Secure Gateways, Proxies, Firewalls
Load Balancers, WAF, IDS technologies
Experience implementing and managing Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
Experience with cloud-based DDoS protection and WAF solutions
Strong troubleshooting capability across infrastructure and network layers
Knowledge of:
Cloud networking architecture, operations, and security
Automation and orchestration
Zero Trust Networking principles
IT security frameworks and governance models
Extensive experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
Experience implementing secure cloud configurations
Experience implementing NATO Security Directives
Understanding of NATO structure, responsibilities, and security policy

Experience working in international environments (military + civilian)
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Analytical, solution-oriented mindset
Willingness to work on-site full-time in Mons
Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work
Willingness to travel within Belgium if required
